Deleting your Chatly account
Chatly respects your right to manage your account and personal data. If you decide to permanently delete your account, the process is straightforward, secure, and designed to protect your privacy at every step.
1. Submitting a Deletion Request

Use the subject line: Account Deletion Request.
In the body of the email, include:
Your registered email address.
A brief explanation of why you are requesting deletion (optional, but helpful).
⚠️ Requests must be submitted from the same email address associated with your Chatly account to ensure validity.
2. Verification and Identity Confirmation
Once your request is received, our support team will review it.
To confirm ownership, we may request additional information (for example, partial billing details or confirmation through a verification code).
This step ensures that account deletion is initiated by the rightful account holder.
3. Deletion Process
After verification, the manual deletion procedure will begin. This involves:

4. Timeframe for Completion
Account deletion typically takes 2 weeks to 2 months.
The duration depends on request volume and verification requirements.
You will be updated if additional time is required.
5. Irreversibility of Deletion
Account deletion is permanent and cannot be reversed.
Once completed, all personal information, activity history, and stored data are erased.
Deleted accounts cannot be recovered. To continue using Chatly in the future, you would need to create a new account.
